The Matchart Cafe is a Japanese dessert shop founded in May 2015 with the purpose of introducing beautiful culture of Japan and its tasty green tea dessert to Cambodia. The word Matchart derived from Matcha (green tea) + Art. Matcha is green tea powder obtaining from green tea leaves called Zencha (Note: not all types of green tea can be called Matcha). Impressed by the tea tradition and taste of Matcha, we want all Cambodians to taste this true Matcha from Kyoto, a traditional city of Japan. The word Art symbolizes the beautiful culture that we bring along with the classic western library-style design full of books for literature lovers to enjoy their quiet reading time with beautiful taste of various kinds of Japanese desserts and Matcha. On top of that, The Matchart Cafe also offers lots of unique and interesting drinks and desserts with ingredients imported directly from Kyoto, Japan.
